GGLCC Demonstration Farm Project
The Georgia Grazing Lands Conservation Coalition has selected four livestock producers through an application process to participate in the GGLCC Demonstration Farm Project. The goal of this project is to help the selected livestock producers implement novel grazing management techniques and or forages in their operations through technical and financial assistance.
The successes and or failures of the Demonstration Farm project will be shared with interested producers around the state through a series of field days starting in 2011 and continuing over the next five years. The selected participants' farms are in Bleckley, Pierce, Jefferson, and Wilkes counties so there will be opportunity for interested producers across the state to attend a field day without excessive travel.
Dates and locations of GGLCC Demonstration Farm Project field days will be posted on this webpage as they are scheduled. GGLCC hopes to see you at an upcoming field day!
